3 Dynamic Passing Drills with Shot on Goal

The following passing drills are from the book “Tiqui Taca – One Touch” by Peter Schreiner. These drills expand the double square set-up and incorporate goals into the mix. To set this up, place either mini-goals or large goals with a goalkeeper at the edges of the larger square.

As a coach you can make these drills even more interesing by introducing the following variations:

  • The opposing team that wants to win the ball with counter-pressing may immediately shoot at one of the goals when they come into possession of the ball.
  • The team with the most players may only shoot the pass from the small square on the goals after a predetermined number of passes.

COACHING POINTS
