On June 21, 2022, 40 trainers took part in the BDFL online workshop in English with Athanasios Terzis.
The topic of the workshop was:
How to penetrate the opponent’s lines and score more goals.
Dazu präsentierte AthanIn addition, Athanasios presented very confidently and versed the following two topics.
- How to penetrate the opponents’ lines with the 1-4-3-3 formation – Based on the tactics of Guardiola, Klopp and Sarri
- Breaking through a compact & low defence by playing over the lines and through flanks – Based on the tactics of Marcelo Bielsa and Pep Guardiola
Among the participants were professional coaches, coaches from youth performance centers, but also amateur and youth coaches who are interested in football tactics. Since the two presentations were very vividly illustrated with game scenes, graphics and animations, it did not matter that 50% of the trainers’ English skills were rather mediocre.
Christoph Pinke (BDFL) was in charge of the organization and Peter Schreiner (Institute for Youth Football) moderated the event.
The presentation contained numerous graphics to explain the tactical information.
Athanasios explained tactical situations with meaningful animations.
